Vasnetsov Victor Mihajlovich.
(1848-1926).
The Peredvizhnik.
In the first period of the creativity follows principles a socially-critical genre of the Peredvizhniki. Subsequently, addressing to themes of folklore mythology, considerably reforms Russian historical genre. Its «epic» creativity brightly expresses «new Russian style». The Vasnetsov too is the religious artist, trying to learn sacred and eternal in life.
