Tropinin Vasily Andreevich.
(1776 – 1857).
His talent and art skill were those, that many accepted his portraits for products of Rembrandt, it is so much in them was of amazing colour and force of illumination. Tropinin has occupied in the Moscow cultural life that niche, which up to him was free, and became most famous Moscow portraitist, reflected in images of the contemporaries both harmony, and discrepancy of the Moscow life.
