          Vasily Vereshchagin
Vereshchagin Vasily Vasilevich
(1842 - 1904)
One of the largest Russian artists-realists. In history of world art the glory of the well-known battle writer was strongly fixed to Vereschagin. The artist has essentially enriched as well household, historical, landscape, portrait painting of the epoch.
